Being raised in California allowed me to travel to Las Vegas & Hawaii often, but my true traveling journey didn’t begin until 2018 when I traveled to Australia with my (ex) boyfriend.

In November of 2017, I had one of the worst birthdays in my life. I told myself, “a year from today I’m gonna be in Australia.” I’m not sure what it was about that country, but it had always been a dream of mine to go there. I took the proper steps to renew my passport and in November of 2018, I went to Brisbane & Cairns, Australia for my 21st birthday. I spent a week out there and fell in love with beauties my eyes had never laid on before. I experienced a feeling of pure ecstasy that I had to continue to explore.

This blossomed into an obsession with leaving the country every few months. For a year, I traveled to a new country every 3 months. Then on my birthday in 2019, I visited 4 countries in 7 days. I had major plans for 2020 vacations, but of course, COVID ruined things. In 2021, I was luckily able to cross off 6 countries from my list and now I’m continuing my travel journey. My main goal is to make it to 100 countries by the age of 30.

One of the questions I’m mostly asked is about my job profession and what I do. There are a few ways I’m able to sustain my lifestyle and I’m never the type to be discreet about it. The first & most important is my main job: Dat Jerk Caribbean Chargrill. It’s a franchise Caribbean restaurant that my parents built from the ground up. I own it with my mother and father – and my boyfriend is the general manager of one of our locations. I currently am no longer working inside of the stores but you may catch me eating some Mac and Cheese at one of them!

In May 2019 I became certified in microblading and decided to open Micros by Morgan: a facial microblading & waxing business. I did eyebrow microblading, freckles, eyeliner, lash enhancement, lip liner, lip blushing, brow lamination + more. The business was great but it was very time-consuming and I realized I couldn’t tend to my clients the best way possible while always being busy. I also did not want to make any of my clients feel uncomfortable by traveling so often. So in August 2020, I decided to make the responsible decision to shut down Micros by Morgan to pursue my career in travel blogging.

In February 2021, I went to an arcade with my coworkers at Dat Jerk for a business partnership we had. I ended up filming the entire hangout and posting it on Tik Tok video labeling it as a “date idea”. The video blew up so the following week I went to another arcade and posted a video that blew up even more! This began my Tik Tok career and officially created “the date ideas girl” title. I decided to take content creation seriously in late 2021 and currently am progressing in that field for it to sustain me financially so I can drop all of my side hustles!

I currently house 18 pets with my boyfriend! I’ve owned 2 miniature poodles since I was 9 years old & they’re still running around the house like they’re newborns. Before Chauncey and I became boyfriend and girlfriend, I purchased him a hedgehog for Christmas & got myself a rabbit. We then added a snake to the collection & as the years went on the family became much MUCH bigger.

The Chinchillas & Reptiles share a room in the basement, our 2 rabbits have their own room upstairs, and our 2 dogs are allowed to roam the house as they please.

We try to give all of our animals a unique name that holds to their individual personalities. We allow time before naming to make sure it properly fits. Sometimes it can take weeks to name them! We don’t want our pets (or kids) having a name they’d hear elsewhere. Here’s what we’ve come up with so far.
