Here are some of the date nights/days we’ve had in Maryland. These spots are all over from northern to southern & east to west. Read the short descriptions to see if we enjoyed our experience or not or watch our full review by clicking the video!

Although we feature all of the dates we’ve been on. Some of them we would NOT recommend spending your hard-earned money on.

UNIQUE

bengies drive

Bengie's Drive In Theater

Drive-in Movie Theater

Middle River, MD

Bengie’s was our first drive-in theater experience. Although it’s such a unique date idea, we would like to try the next drive-in movie elsewhere. They have so many rules that it ends up becoming annoying. They are not 2010 car & up friendly AT ALL! Don’t forget to bring a friend because you may be jump-starting your car at the end of the movie since it sucks your battery dry. If your headlights don’t turn off all of the way, be prepared to bring a blanket to cover them or get kicked out with no refund. The staff isn’t friendly at all & the Tik Tok comments were flooded with people complaining about the racism they received while there. We won’t be supporting this business any further.

Piercing

Mystic Piercing

Piercing Studio

Crofton, MD

This is the only spot I trust to pierce my skin and I’ve been going to them for 5 years now!

Car

D&L Tinting

Auto Shop

White Marsh, MD + other locations

This is a heavily proud US military establishment so if blue flags & patriarchy bother you then I would skip this place. However, this is the best tinting and car decal spot in Maryland! We went to their White Marsh location but they do have another one around the area.

Warehouse

Warehouse Cinemas

Unique Movie Theater w/ 32 Taps of Beer

Frederick, MD

An old warehouse turned movie theater – Warehouse Cinemas is a unique movie theater experience that I think everyone should try once! They have a bar that makes themed drinks based on the new releases & if you’re a beer fan, they offer 32 taps!

Seacrets

Seacrets

Beach Themed Day Club/Restaurant

Ocean City, MD

If you want a place that they call “Jamaica” but serves the nastiest Caribbean food then come on down to Seacrets. Don’t get me wrong, we had a BLAST! But we certainly were not there for the food & don’t suggest it either. You can dine and drink in the piss filled water or head over to the dance floor to see the live band play. This place is huge and I can see how it makes so much money every year. There is a cover fee and its 21+ only.

IPic

Luxury Movie Theater

North Bethesda, MD

A luxury theater sounds impossible right? That’s what we thought until we went to Ipic Theaters. They offer crafted cocktails, a full menu, and soft blankets for you to enjoy the movie of your choice. Ipic does an excellent job at making the movies feel like an experience and not just an activity.

Potomac Paddle Club

Paddle Boat

National Harbor, MD + DC location

This was the first “DMV Women’s Hangout” that I hosted in 2021 and we went on a cycle boat hosted by Potomac Paddle Club. Although we had an amazing experience, we would not book with them again. They updated their website after our visit due to misinformation about them providing alcohol. (At first,) They claimed they offered liquor on the boat but once we arrived we realized that was not the case. It was too overpriced for what the activity was.

Pose Rooftop

Themed Rooftop Bar

National Harbor, MD (@ the Gaylord Hotel)

This is supposed to be a seasonal theme at “Replay”, the rooftop bar at The Gaylord Hotel. However, this theme has been around all 2021 and we’re not sure when it’s leaving. They currently have an 80’s themed bar with playful drinks that have desserts on top. Some are made out of cereal and some sparkle in the moonlight. Overall, it’s crafty choosing which special drink to have. BUT don’t expect them to get you lit, they are quite scarce on the liquor.

Marley Station Carnival

Carnival

Glen Burnie, MD (seasonal)

Who doesn’t love the local carnival where middle schoolers constantly skip lines?

A Little Something Perfect

A Little Something Perfect

Luxury Picnic

District Heights, MD + DC & VA Location

Chauncey & I booked a luxury picnic experience with A Little Something Perfect in the middle of December. The picnic was set up in a private igloo & words could not describe the shock on my face when witnessing it in person! There was so much attention to detail in the decor & we even had customized stockings. You could never get bored with all of the mentally stimulating items and games to play. You can even hook up your phone to the Victrola Bluetooth speaker which was super neat. We listened to Christmas songs, got on Tik Tok live, and enjoyed our charcuterie board. The themes change every season so we can’t wait to see what A Little Something Perfect has in store for this year!

RELAXING

Afterglow Oasis

Beauty Esthetician

Temple Hills, MD

This was the first (and best) facial we’ve ever received! Not only was it soothing, but it was also educational. She finishes every session with a delicious homemade drink that you can’t miss out on!

Spiritual Essence Yoga

Yoga

Upper Marlboro, MD

Who would’ve thought that yoga could be a date idea? We certainly didn’t until going to Spiritual Essence Yoga. We had a super relaxing hour session that was over before we knew it. We can’t wait for our next class!

CREATIVE/ARTISTIC

Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine

Pottery Painting

Rockville, MD + other locations

Yes, this is the same place you went for your cousin’s 10th birthday party & we’re bringing it back to date night! Make a creative piece for yourself or your boo. Chauncey & I made “Among Us” mugs which were absolutely adorable. We always play as the dark green and lime green colors so we made our mugs the same!

The Muse Museum

Selfie Museum

National Harbor, MD

Take adorable couples photos at this selfie museum right by the National Harbor. Or just stop by and say hello to Rashawn, the owner!

Selfie

Lights Camera Selfie Gallery

Selfie Museum

Waldorf, MD

Head over to the mall to take some cute pictures at this selfie museum! They change their themes every few months so there’ll always be something new!

NATURE/WILDLIFE

Assateague Island

Wild Horse Beach

Assateague Island, MD

Take your loved one on a ride to Assateague Island, the beach filled with wild horses. We’ve been there a few times & you have to stay around for at least 4 hours to see horses. Be careful though because you’re not allowed to go close to them (there’s park police taking care of that).

GAMING/ACTIVE

Scary Strokes

Scary Strokes

Glow in the Dark Mini Golf

Waldorf, MD

Be prepared to spend hours in our favorite arcade in the DMV area! We love this spot since it has glo in the dark mini golf, tons of arcade games, and VR (our personal favorite). You’ll never run out of things to do & the owner is such a sweet guy that it’s impossible to not support!

4th Dimension

Fourth Dimenion Fun Center

Arcade

Frederick, MD

This is one of the biggest arcades I’ve ever seen! It’s like the luxury Dave & Busters. From bowling to escape rooms to 4dx gaming to laser tag, this place has it all! They also serve food, drinks, and have almost way too much to do in one day! We spent 7 hours here our first time going.

launch trampoline

Launch

Trampoline Park

District Heights, MD + other locations (highly recommend not visiting the District Heights location)

This made our #1 list of the WORST places to go. Launch is the most unprofessional and filthy establishment I’ve ever been to. Our Tik Tok on them went so viral that the owners and manager reached out to ask us to take it down. Three of their staff members found my Instagram page and continued to send me death threats due to my Tik Tok. After letting the manager know, he joked around about how they’re located in a ‘bad’ neighborhood so I shouldn’t expect much different. I laughed out loud. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to the dirt on the damn ground.

Velocity Driving

Sports Car Driving

Aberdeen, MD + other locations

Have you ever wanted to know what driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini is like? Check out Velocity Driving Experience where they let you purchase laps around a track in a sports car of your choice! They travel all over the US but when they come to Maryland they’ll be in Aberdeen.

urban axe

Urban Axe

Axe Throwing

Baltimore, MD + other locations

We had the opportunity to book a group axe throwing session at Urban Axe. We went around Valentine’s Day so they had cute decorations and love themed drinks! They serve pre-made cocktails, beer, and more. For food, you can order from neighboring businesses and receive a discount – they’ll deliver the food directly to you! We ordered pizza and weren’t too satisfied with the flavor. During the axe throwing, you have an instructor at all times – which we didn’t care too much for but understand the safety concerns of drinking mixed with axes. We were able to play some games during our time there which passed by rather quickly. We still enjoyed ourselves & think it’s a great group date idea.

big bounce

Big Bounce America

Bounce House

Fort Washington, MD + other locations

If you want dirt and kids, here’s the place to be! They tour the US over the year. Even though it was a fun experience, we certainly would not go back – it was just WAY too dirty and nasty.

Crofton Go Carting

Go Carting

Crofton, MD

Crofton Go Carting is an interesting go-carting track. You have to slow down and pass through the ticketing section EVERY lap. They collect your ticket then you can keep going. Their track is quite big so 7 laps seem like 14 but this was a cute date night. I certainly will go again.
